Our Mission & What We Do
At R & R Senior Rides, our mission is to provide reliable, affordable transportation to medical appointments for seniors in Elliot Lake.
That’s why we offer door-to-door service: we pick you up from your home in Elliot Lake, take you directly to your medical appointment in Sudbury or Sault Ste. Marie, and bring you safely back home when you’re done.

Each round trip to Sudbury or Sault Ste. Marie costs us about $400. Riders pay $130, leaving about $270 to cover. Your gift helps close that gap so more seniors can get to the medical appointments they need.

Eligible riders may qualify for the Northern Health Travel Grant. Eligibility and reimbursement amounts depend on the program rules and the trip; a $130 reimbursement is not guaranteed.

When online giving is available, donations through CanadaHelps will be processed on its website under its privacy terms. Donor information shared with us is used to administer and acknowledge gifts. This website does not collect payment card details.
